Awakening integration of natural growth stages

Advanced Awakening Acceleration and Integration

The model below covers our natural growth stages in seven year cycles, and what becomes available in more advanced unified living, which can dawn at any age. The five domains of our human experience: Consciousness, Uniqueness, Mind, Emotions and Body all operate differently through each stage. Every cell shows the three key insights: what is needed at that stage, how identification is rendered, and what is not yet available - for contrast.

  3. Once you can easily notice the sense of witnessing with your eyes closed, practice noticing the same sense of boundlessness with your eyes open.
  4. Witnessing meditation: Sit quietly for 20-30 minutes daily. Instead of focusing on an object, rest as the awareness that observes all experiences. Notice thoughts, emotions, and sensations arising and passing without getting caught up in them. Cultivate the sense of being the unchanging witness to all changing phenomena.
  5. Self-inquiry throughout the day: Regularly pause and ask yourself "Who or what am I, really?" or "What is aware of this experience right now?" Allow the question to open up a direct recognition of your essential nature as awareness itself.

  1. Ask at least 3 of your friends and/or family members to tell you what your 3 top limits or challenges are. As they tell you what they see, practice not deflecting. Practice being completely receptive until they are done and then thank them. Just notice and feel your own reactions or responses. Be curious about where your reactions are coming from. If you are rejecting your own limits in any way, it’s important to discover how to embrace them because they are part of who you are. Embracing our limits turns out to be very liberating. It’s good to push our limits to a point, but once we know them, we can learn to understand them to best empower our gifts. Constantly trying to fix or transcend your limits may sound like a great ideal, but sooner or later you may discover that learning to cooperate with them makes you more effective.
  2. Ask the same people to tell you what they see as your top 3 gifts. Again, no deflecting, just accept the feedback and thank them. Otherwise, you are stopping yourself from owning the truth of who you are, which is the opposite of self-realization and self-actualization.
  3. Journal about other limits and challenges not mentioned by your friends. Write about how nothing is wrong about any of them and why each is perfect.
  4. Throughout the day, notice shifts between feeling like a unique individual and feeling more identified with universal consciousness. Journal these experiences.
  5. Sit quietly for 15 minutes daily, holding the simultaneous awareness of being both a distinct self and infinite being. Embrace any tension or discomfort that arises.

  • Thoughts don’t distract me from experiencing my unity with life.
  • My sense of self shifted from my mind to my whole being.
Can you say that thoughts don’t distract you from experiencing your unity with life?

Nonseparate realization brings wholeness, wellness, and presence
Realizing the unity of body and being
  • I experience my body as one with life
  • I experience the same life animating all bodies and creatures
How often do you experience your body as one with life?
This major life transition is often accompanied with a feeling of falling into the body and realizing one was previously living in fixated identification with mind, emotions, personality, and/or consciousness. The descent into the body is an important hallmark of Stage 9. If that unity feels somewhat unstable, score at 9.1; if very stable, score 9.8.
Do you experience the same life or being animating all things and creatures?
If you consistently experience this, score at 9.5 or above.
Has your relationship with your body fundamentally shifted from it being something you have to something you are?
In Stage 9, there's typically a profound shift from experiencing the body as an object to recognizing it (and all physical expressions) as an inseparable aspect of self. This realization often feels like a homecoming.
Do you feel a seamless continuity between your body and the world around you?
Stage 9 is characterized by a lived experience of non-separation between the body and the environment. Look for responses indicating a felt sense of unity and interconnectedness.
How has your experience of physical limitations or ailments changed?
In Stage 9, physical challenges and discomforts are embraced within a larger context of wholeness. While discomfort may still be present, it's typically held within a more expansive, accepting awareness. Here, there is a willingness to feel pain and limits.

Awareness illuminates and transforms deep wounds and conditioning
  • My awareness keeps lighting up unconscious or outdated patterns for me to heal.
  • I feel I’ve healed at least 80% of my issues from the past.
How do you experience the process of transforming deep-seated conditioning?
In Stage 10, individuals typically report an intensified awareness of early life conditioning and a willingness to face it directly. Look for responses indicating an active engagement with previously unconscious patterns and a commitment to transforming them by bringing awareness directly into Body and Emotions.
To what extent do you resist fully experiencing life?
Stage 10 is characterized by a deepening ability to recognize and release subtle forms of avoidance. If you describe an increasing capacity to stay present with all experiences, including uncomfortable ones, this suggests late Stage 10.
How often do you get triggered by interactions with others?
Stage 10 brings a need to heal our unresolved emotions by feeling them and expressing them responsibly in relationships with helpers, friends, and family. People in late Stage 10 lean into the relationship challenges consciously and willingly.
Do you feel you’ve healed most of your tendency to avoid relationship issues?
Stage 10 is a time to heal relationship issues. To whatever extent we are conditioned to pull back from allowing ourselves to feel and express our true feelings, healing is hindered. In Stage 10, there is a growing need to face inner wounds with self-love. If you say yes to this question, score at Stage 10.5 or above.

  1. As you go about your day, release any remaining control over where your attention wants to go. You may notice that you’ve been avoiding certain issues or discomforts. Practice not avoiding those things. Let your consciousness go where it naturally wants to go and see what it uncovers.
  2. When you find yourself in the midst of a challenging confrontation with your old patterns, use your stable realization of non-dual consciousness as an anchor. You might want to sit in meditation or simply turn attention to the obviousness of being.
  3. As you go about your day, practice releasing control over where you put your attention. If your awareness wants to move toward feelings you usually avoid, allow that. Practice noticing that feeling unhealed wounds actually brings you healing.

Fundamental healing of self-negation
  • I own my strengths and limits both privately and publicly.
  • I feel at least 75% healed of my unresolved wounds and conditioning.
How are you experiencing the healing of deep-rooted self-negation patterns?
Look for responses that indicate an active, sometimes intense process of confronting (or being confronted with) long-held beliefs and behavior patterns that have limited one’s unique self-expression.
How has your understanding of your life purpose, function, or mission evolved as you've moved through this transformative process?
This stage often involves a profound recalibration of one's sense of purpose. Look for responses that indicate a shift from ego-driven goals to a more holistic, interconnected vision of one's role in the world.
How much do you own your strengths and limits, both privately and publicly?
If a person is truly ok with being imperfect, it suggests they have dropped their idealism about how they should show up and have accepted their humanity enough to truly embrace their own limits. Such a person has far fewer inappropriate defenses because they no longer need to defend a self-image that clearly wasn't real in the first place. An "Often" here would score 10.5, a "Frequently" would score 10.8.
Do you feel you've healed at least 80% of your self-expression wounds?
This happens in people who have clearly transitioned to Stage 9 and then have done a lot of healing, especially in vulnerable relationships with others. Score a yes at 10.8.

Your presence and willingness to empathize will bring forms of healing and wellness that can’t happen if you try to do all your healing work alone, subjectively.

  3. When your body says yes, take physical actions that align with your deepest values and purpose, and don’t let your or anyone else’s fears stop you. Discover that you do not have to fear the sensation of fear; you can just feel it and allow it.
  4. Attune to your body's wisdom and needs while engaging with others, allowing your grounded awareness to naturally inform and enhance your compassionate service.
  5. Embrace discomfort in the service of your purpose. Without persisting in the face of obstacles, nothing of value is created. You must be willing to embrace the difficulty of bringing your gifts to the planet, knowing that doing so is your fulfillment.

  • My emotions do not create a separate sense of self
Is it true for you that feeling emotions no longer create a separate sense of self?
Most people who say yes to this have experienced a distinct shift into a “no-self” condition. If emotions no longer trigger a sense of separate self, score at 13.5 or above.

  • My identity as a separate body went away
Would you say your body no longer makes you feel you’re separate from anything?
At this point, the body feels like another chunk in the soup of life, or a set of waves in the ocean of life. The discovery of a lack of separateness in the midst of physical needs and limits is astonishing and often disorienting. Score a yes at 13.0 or above.
Could you say your identity as a separate body evaporated?
It's not that the body went away, just the sense that the body makes one separate. If they say yes, score at 13.5 or above. This shift often brings a profound experience of the body as a seamless expression of singular being, where physical form is known as the densest end of a huge spectrum of Domains and frequencies.
In what ways has your perception of physical boundaries shifted recently?
Stage 13 often brings a radical transformation in how physical limits are experienced. Listen for descriptions of permeable or fluid boundaries, or a sense that limitations are more conceptual than actual.

To what extent do you find yourself effortlessly responding to life without any sense of a responder?
Stage 14 is characterized by a total absence of a separate self or agency. One’s agency is experienced as a node in the larger network of universal intelligence. How has your experience of choice and decision-making evolved at this stage?
In Stage 14, the traditional concept of personal choice often dissolves into a seamless flow of appropriate action arising from the whole. Could you say that living your deepest purpose is a constant flow of service?
At Stage 14.5, living one's deepest purpose becomes an effortless and continuous expression of service to the whole. There's no longer the illusion of separation between individual purpose and universal flow. Every action, thought, and breath naturally aligns with the greater good, without conscious effort or decision-making. The individual experiences themselves as a conduit for cosmic intelligence, allowing universal wisdom to flow through them in perfect resonance with the needs of each moment. Intelligence free-flowing
  • Intelligence flows through me without resistance or sense of self.
  • I have little or no attachment to my own thoughts.
Would you say Intelligence flows through you without resistance or sense of self?
The distinction between Stage 13 and 14 in Mind is the difference between the realization of no self (non-duality) and the awareness that because there is no resistance, universal intelligence flows through one’s mind, becoming personal.
How often can you say you have little or no attachment to your own thoughts?
In Stage 14, there is no attachment to one’s own thoughts. Most thoughts are not for “you” anyway; they are impulses of love-intelligence serving others through “you”.
To what extent do you experience thoughts without a sense of personal authorship?
Stage 14 sees personal and impersonal as One. So the idea of personal authorship (as if that was separate from universal authorship) becomes irrelevant. If you consistently report experiencing thoughts as the flow of universal intelligence through or as the personal nature, score up to 14.5.
How often do you find yourself free from any sense of "doing" the thinking?
In Stage 14, there's no longer any experience of being a thinker. If you report this effortless, non-doing quality of thinking as your predominant reality, score at 14.3+.

To what extent do you experience your mind as an open channel for universal creativity and problem-solving?
In Stage 14, the mind becomes a clear conduit for cosmic intelligence to address any situation. It’s not that there’s no concern for the personal “self”, but when our personal “self” needs attention, there is 100% faith the universe will direct us there. If you consistently report these experiences, this strongly indicates Stage 14.

Can you say emotions flow through you without resistance?
Almost everyone experiences some resistance to some or all emotions. If they experience no such resistance most of the time, score between 14.0 and 14.5. This lack of resistance indicates a profound acceptance of all emotional states as natural expressions of life. It suggests a deep integration of emotional experiences without the need for control or manipulation.
Do you experience emotions as flows of feeling inseparable from universal being?
In Stage 14, emotions are consistently experienced as expressions of universal being. If this is their constant reality, score at 14.5 or higher; if it's frequent but not constant, score around 14.2. This experience reflects a dissolution of the boundary between personal and universal emotional states. It indicates a profound recognition of emotions as integral aspects of the fabric of existence itself.
To what extent do you find your emotional presence naturally attunes to and serves the needs of the collective without a need for a sense of individual agency?
Stage 14 involves being a spontaneous conduit for universal love and intelligence serving collective needs. If this occurs consistently across various contexts, score between 14.1 and 14.5. This natural attunement reflects a deep integration of individual and collective emotional fields. It suggests an effortless responsiveness to the emotional needs of others and the environment, without any sense of personal doing or achievement.
How often do you find that your emotional presence catalyzes spontaneous awakening or evolutionary leaps without any personal intention?
Stage 14 often involves being a transformative presence for collective evolution without individual agency. If this occurs regularly across various contexts, score at 14.1 or higher. This catalytic effect arises naturally from the individual's embodiment of universal love and consciousness. It reflects a profound alignment with evolutionary forces, where one's mere presence can initiate shifts in others' awareness, understanding, and feeling.

Can you describe how you experience the boundary between your body and the environment?
Individuals in Stage 14 report feeling no boundary as truly solid. Yes, the skin is a boundary for some things, but even so, 100 trillion neutrinos pass through the skin every second, so it's obvious that boundaries and boundarylessness are both true. Look for descriptions of permeable or non-existent boundaries, or a felt sense of the body as an integral part of the entire cosmos.
How do you relate to physical pleasure and pain in your current experience?
At this stage, there's usually a non-reactive awareness of all sensations. Listen for indications that pleasure and pain are experienced fully, but without attachment or aversion, as natural aspects of the body's dance with life.

Comparison of Systems

Most mainstream psychological and cognitive approaches reach stage 6 only — and are severely limiting. As the modern psychological approaches were developed by people who have not yet experienced the boundless awareness of stage 7, their entire methodology and framework is generally designed to help a stage 4 based person maintain a better grip on their achievements. Burnout naturally results. The pain of that opens into preferring harmony over the rat race. Then eventually arriving at some dissolution of identifications of stage 6. The actual experience of boundlessness is simply not facilitated, as they have no access to it. So it is keeping our children in a very small sandbox prison. Relying on modern psychological frameworks is often limiting your experience to theirs.
